It’s her turn….

Still a novice blogger, I hardly did justice to Seth’s arrival in 2007.  I didn’t even post his birth news until three days later.  Granted, I was a little caught up in the worst ice storm of the decade, and an emergency colon surgery, but still, in hindsight, I feel that I could have done a little better.

Last spring, I merely copied and pasted the email I’d composed to our family to announce the shocking, sad news of Duncan’s too-soon arrival.  Short, sweet, and oh-so-hard to write.

Therefore, today, it gives me no small amount of joy to introduce to the blog world, with some degree of fanfare, our daughter.

Interpeeps, meet Baby Girl.

She has already lit up our lives in an indescribable way, and we are so thankful to God for this beautiful gift.

She was born via c-section on Monday, May 3, 2010, at 1:34 pm.

She weighed exactly 6 pounds and was 18”.

Oh.  And her name?

Erin Elizabeth.

Welcome to the world, little one.  We’re so glad you are here.  You certainly took your sweet time, but you were so very worth the wait.
