Fine, you win.
I called the doctor.
She said go to the hospital.
So I did.
The nurse I had was mean and rude and made me cry.
My water didn’t full out break, but is leaky. My contractions are strong, but not regular. My cervix is soft, but closed. Translation: Baby Girl is fine.
I fed her Fritos after I was discharged from Labor & Delivery.
I’m home, I’m cranky, and I’ve decided I’m going to delivery the baby myself at home without any mean nurses nearby.
And I’m going to ask Jim to get me McNuggets for dinner.
End of story.
(Imagine me sticking out my tongue……not at you, per se, just at the world in general.)
(I told you I was cranky.)

Thank you for going to the doctor. i feel better. I'll give those nurses the whatfor. *punches at the air* Love you...love baby girl...love Seth...and yeah...Love to Jim. ;) *HUGS* Stay put, BG!
So happy you went! Glad BG is well. And McNuggets sound PERFECT. Don't forget the honey! Yum!
You know my theory on Happy Meals.
You'll also need a milkshake with those nuggets.
Please tell me you also got fries!
Hello...Mrs. Lurker here, you should have told the nurse to stick it where the sun don't shine. You are the pregnant lady here not her. Don't ever let someone who works at a 'hospital' make you cry!!! God Bless and keep that baby in a little while longer!
Do they monitor leaking fluid more closely? Not that you aren't already being monitored like crazy! Glad BG is fine.
I'm glad you had it checked out. I'm praying for you (as much as I can with my tongue stuck out at mean nurses...)!
I know I only comment occasionally but wanted to say I'm praying for you. Also, my water leaked with our first daughter. L&D sent me home. My OB freaked out 3 days later at my appt that my water had been ruptured for over 24 hours and sent me to be immediately induced with antibiotics. Mine was leaking a little here and a little there, nothing major. He insisted delivery needed to happen asap. I clearly don't know your situation but felt I should speak up bc my OB was upset that L&D sent me home. Best wishes.
Sorry it was a bad experience...but I definitely think calling the Dr. was the right thing to do. Hope the McDonalds was everything you wanted it to be!!
I'm so glad that BG and you checked out fine! You had me worried.
